Northbrook, IL March 26   –  Exhibitors are signing up to meet with the over 20 ACE buyers who will be attending the 2010 National Hardware Show® - The Presidents Council’s Buying Day. By providing a format for individual meetings during the Show, the Buying Days offers exhibitors an additional opportunity to meet leading retailer and distributor buyers who will be at the show.

ACE is the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the convenience segment of the hardware industry in terms of wholesale and retail sales and strength of the brand. ACE’s 4,600 stores in all 50 states and more than 60 countries generate annual retail sales of approximately $12 billion.

The Buying Days will benefit the City of Hope a charitable organization that is devoted to achieving tangible breakthroughs in the treatment of diabetes, HIC/AIDS, breast cancer and leukemia.

Over 40 buyers are participating from other companies as well, including buyers from Sears, Marvins, Lancaster, United Hardware, Handy Hardware, Arett Sales, Jensen Distribution Services, Pro Group, and Commerce.

Exhibitors pay a fee to register to have an individual meeting with the buyers of their choice.  A portion of the registration cost is donated to the City of Hope.  The registration for the individual meetings is open and going strong.

It is a “win–win” event for everyone. The exhibitors get an extra chance to meet face-to-face with leading retailer, coop and distributor buyers who donate their time, they find innovative new products and the City of Hope receives support for their hard work in biomedical research and clinical trials.
